The learning disability team were asked to attend a practice session. Several members of the team attended. They presented how the LD service is set up and then looked at several case studies where the input of the LD service was needed. A few recent legal cases were also discussed. All of our practice team found this session interesting and useful. We did feel it would be useful in future to ask for more focus, for receptionists, on how to speak to LD patients at reception and on the phone. If you need contact details email Jan Burns.
